Not sure how it’s a deal. But of all streaming platforms, appletv is the most polished. (ROKU is pretty good, but not as polished)

ROKU is better than Apple TV

ROKU has many free channels including local channels while Apple TV has no free contents at all!

I love appletv since I can connect all my iPads, iphones to a bigger TV screen. I don't think Roku can do it, right?

Roku can do AirPlay now (I do it on a 4K stick and our Roku TV) but there's a good 500ms latency. Apple TV is much faster and more reliable if you plan on doing a lot of AirPlay. //@Anonymous: Roku can connect iphone. //@Anonymous: I love appletv since I can connect all my iPads, iphones to a bigger TV screen. If you download the various free content apps, it does have free contents. //@sujan6373: ROKU has many free channels including local channels while Apple TV has no free contents at all!

Shield Pro beats them all hands down. More expensive but you get so much more.

the biggest gripe for ROKU is it can't connect to third-party Bluetooth speakers but only its proprietary ROKU Bluetooth speakers.

Hisense is a very good brand. Please don't debase it. If China made cars are allowed into USA, we should see better vehicle market in the great favor of American customers as what we see now in the TV's. China quality is catching up very quickly, and in some respects, already No. 1. //@Anonymous: I really don't think so. Hisense is a famous brand with excellent quality. //@Anonymous: Check LG and Samsung in Sams, sometimes they have even better price than this trash.
