Kohl's credit card operations is being run, in my experience, to be a huge profit-center by illicit means. I've used the great discount deals here, and was motivated by Dealsea to get a Kohl's charge card. It worked fine until they concocted late charges that were higher than the total charges owed, and which were not late. This is becoming a pattern with them; sure, you can hassle your way to erase the charges by taking for hours with five different people on two continents, but if their profits are coming via faked late fees, it may be time to reconsider these great discount deals offered here.

The quality of the Kohl's house brands, including Croft & Barrow and Sonoma, has deteriorated greatly in the last year; I bought some of their tee and polo shirts and the dye ran when I washed them, ruining an entire load of laundry. The pockets have gotten so small as to be useless. Kohl's apparently slaps the brands on the cheapest goods it can find being imported from Asia on any given week.
