This phone does not work on services like Lycamobile and in short periods won't work on At&T, Tmobile etc as they are about to migrate to 4G LTE. Currently my 3G phone stopped working on Lycamobile as they are not supporting 3G any more.

I know you can make and receive calls with 3G phone on Lyca. If you are trying to do more than that you should buy a smartphone

I am using Lyca and Lyca confirmed 3G phones does not work on 4G LTE networks. I am not able to receive calls also. I raised a request with Lyca and they confirmed 3G phones does not work on 4G LTE including calls. Hope this helps!! Eventhough i don't use data i am forced to migrate to 4G LTE device now i am able to get calls clearly. //@Anonymous: I know you can make and receive calls with 3G phone on Lyca. I don’t really understand Google strategy here. If they want to sell more phones, then just don’t limit their products at Google store only. I know you can buy them from Best Buy and target, but that’s through Verizon channel. Not everyone wants to switch. Nexus 6P is a good example. You have more choices when it come to where to buy.

The Verizon model will work on all operators. At the Google pop-up store in October, they actually sold the Verizon SKU.
