You can definitely ask for one. This actually is exactly what I use for work. The only thing preventing you from getting one is to lazy to set up a new machine. As for using your own machine for development, that’s not an option. I ordered yesterday, delivered same day, can be paired as airbuds pro, not working with anything tap or slide, ANC not working, always asked to put AirPods in ears while in ears. Tried different rubber, also cleaned, still same. I returned within 1 hour.
