The tablet is supposed to handle many processes in parallel and these tasks aren't necessary take a lot of RAM. How are you going to use a lots of RAM? Run webservers with a lots of cashed stuff? Or some kind databases? The device isn't intended for these tasks. Processing in parallel many small things is what this device about.
