Amazon sells the newer generation that uses USB 3.2 gen 2 with a claimed read speed of 1050 MB/s for $125. The model number is SDSSDE61. Sure the real speed never reaches the claimed speed, but just think twice before buying an older version

yep, but I think it is still worthy with the $30 difference. It is not an amazing deal, but it is a deal for portable SSDs.
