yes.. that was due to lack of confidence from Samsung when iphone 8 and X was getting launched. They feared S8 and S8+ may not fair well. But, it happened opposite. Both iphone 8 and X were flop that S8 price now is back to its original launch price with no discounts even during thanksgiving. //@Anonymous: wait for the big discount from Samsung, guys.
