There are many old houses. Changing the design would cost too much. Remote sensor is the best solution for existing situation. How it help save energy? This great deal for basic on/off thru wifi. I bought this for 3 story condo 4 yrs ago for $150. Have yet to use the schedule. Useful for turn on/off in middle of night or on way home hot days. Never really need all the fancy sensors. Serve its purpose. Got $175 electric/gas credit also
