Yes, they will send the shipping label to you (free shipping), you need to send it back before certain date (for my order today, it is July 29) //@Anonymous: so what is trade-in means? do I need to send back echo dot 2?

Echo spot gen2 is my first alexa device, at that time, the Alexa App sucks. :P

Just went to mail it back to Amazon. I do prefer the one with display.

Right before I package it, I remember to power it up again, and said "echo, I am sorry", she replied "There is no need to apologize". I hesitated for 10 seconds, open Alex App, de-register this device from my account, (yap I have a couple of others now), then I told it, "echo do factory reset". It took a while and everything is done and I am good to go.
