Having seen that, I was so jealous because my Galaxy S7 is so laggy, random restart, and need to update to a new phone. He does not even debate about buying anything else. Cost of ownership for iPhone is better compare with any other phone I am aware. I may have to cough up some money on iPhone. Too bad google phones does not last like iPhone.

I bought a cheapo ($50) LG phone a few years ago and it is running great. Seems that LG makes high quality devices. I have not tried these higher end models though. Just my experience.

I already saved $1200+ by switching to T-Mobile from Verizon about a year back. 2 phones were $200+ taxes, additional charges... per month in Verizon just because I kept unlimited data. Now its $100 in Tmobile with everything unlimited and international roaming data, free wifi in flights and free Netflix.

So I don't really want that $5 from Verizon
