Bought one from Best Buy and returned it. It seems it was made by cheapest plastic. Not worth the money.

For me, the pro sucks. Running with the Pro, it makes shaking sound for every step. The app showed it fits in my ears nicely, but it is not. The noise cancellation is not as over the ears headphones. I find myself rarely use it during the past year. //@anonymous: Aren’t the pros a better deal at this price?

Go to Apple store and get it fixed. It’s on their “recall” list. //@anonymous: For me, the pro sucks. Running with the Pro, it makes shaking sound for every step. Pro is between 2nd and 3rd generations, released in 2019, but it has noise cancellation which is a big advantage over 3rd generation

We did download offline maps and used iphone everywhere around Arizona and Utah without any issues. You just don't have traffic updates without cellular data. //@Anonymous: Try to use your cellphone in Arizona or Monuments Valley. Let us know the outcome. //@Anonymous: How about your Cellphone? Maps on Cellphones can work offline with GPS signals, which is also needed by the Garmins. //@Anonymous: Try to use your cellphone in Arizona or Monuments Valley. This device is still useful when no cellular signals and your car has no builtin GPS.

Actually, the cellular signals are for accessing the map (and live traffic conditions) only. Most of cell phones currently have the GPS receiver on device and can receive GPS/location signals from different Satellites. You can pre-download the map into your cell phone device when you are in the hotel (restaurant, store, or home) with internet access. Then, you can use the pre-downloaded map on your phone as the GPS device on the road even if there are no cellular signals on the road. //@Anonymous: This device is still useful when no cellular signals and your car has no builtin GPS.

It's called "Off line" map provided by Google map on your phone. No real time traffic information though. //@Anonymous: Actually, the cellular signals are for accessing the map (and live traffic conditions) only. I tried to use smartphone a couple of times but found it much worse compared to standalone GPS. Also I tried a half dozen applications for navigation and all of them useless. Standalone GPS is only device I can feel comfortably during driving. //@Anonymous: Are people still buying this?

I switched to an android after the iPhone 4 came out and never looked back at iOS. However now my work requires an iOS device to run company apps. I could've just switched back to an iPhone but I just can't stand it anymore. Luckily for me there's cellular iPads lol (Hotspot socks so I rely on 5G all the time) //@anonymous: Because some people don't have a budget constraint. //@Anonymous: what is the point to have a cellular version iPad, since you already have a cellular smart phone..
