Yes the only way to get the cheaper deal is by exploiting home depot's pricing method and canceling or returning the free gifts. Amazingly HD has not remedied this loophole yet, but they will eventually. It's all the rage on deal sites. //@anonymous: you cannot get driver and drill for 86 it has to be along with 2 free tools for 199

Many plumbers have told me don't buy plumbing fixtures from any big box stores, including Home Depot.

Because they sell inferior products than plumbing stores. Many metal components are replaced with plastic in big box store versions, even among the brand name products. //@Anonymous: why? //@anonymous: Many plumbers have told me don't buy plumbing fixtures from any big box stores, including Home Depot.

Right, keep trusting your plumbers. They are telling you the absolute truth with no bias at all. //@anonymous: Many plumbers have told me don't buy plumbing fixtures from any big box stores, including Home Depot.

lol yeah ONLY buy from THIS person’s plumber only and trust and repeat ONLY what THEY say. “Here to fix your problem, buy from me next time and I won’t have to come back. And tell everyone you know.” Sorry you fell for that and sorry someone asked you to explain. Post sounds like attention spam. //@anonymous: Right, keep trusting your plumbers. I've been using it long after I smelled it and saw the green smoke coming out. I would yell about it but my throat hurts too much to speak these days. //@Anonymous: You’re a liar. No one would keep using it if it did. Even you. //@anonymous: toxic smell for a long time from the plastic

You are supposed to rinse these with water and vinegar before using. Why would you expect it to be clean from the factory? You dont use dishes immediately after unboxing so don't use appliances after unboxing either. //@anonymous: toxic smell for a long time from the plastic
