I bought this computer along with a Sceptre 24" LED Monitor and after getting everything set up and plugged in, the monitor doesn't turn on. After searching around it seems to be a problem with the computer. Because of the internal cables being all over the place I didn't even bother trying to take it apart since it was such a mess. Now this really isn't a problem as long as it works, but I seriously cannot find what is wrong with the set up. The monitor displays a "No Signal" message for a few seconds before turning black, and I have to power the monitor on and off to receive the message again. Changing the source doesn't work either. I've been sitting for hours trying to research and solve this issue, most of the time it boils down to specific parts not working.

No output from the video card. 1) use another monitor just to confirm; 2) check the video cable; 3) swab a video card. Does the 1080 need extra power? Perhaps they forgot to connect.

The machine was defective out of the box – crashed repeatedly; I never got to use it. It cost me $150 to send the machine back to Lenovo. Hours of my time spent with the Call Center and Case Managers trying to follow up and find out what was happening with the PC (their online tracker for repairs is useless – they don’t update it). They sent back a repaired machine rather than replacing it with a new one – although the machine left the factory defective and was never used. This has cost many hours of my time, weeks without the computer, shipping costs, and I now have a repaired machine instead of a new one. In my experience this is some of the worst customer service possible; I expected an apology, a new machine, and a refund of the shipping costs. I am truly surprised that Lenovo would behave in this manner.
