I still have my casio scientific calculator from 30+ years ago and it still works. It got me through 2 engineering degrees. They might have been the first to have calculators with continuous calculation (exe instead of equal sign). I bought one of those TI financial calculators just for my professional engineering exam and it broke right after. I think there is a conspiracy to promote TI products in the US in schools. Just look at a syllabus and see if there is mention of casio. Casio was better than TI in my days and I still think it is.

I am using a Ti-84 Plus CE from several years ago. Previously, I used my Casio to get my Ph.D. degrees. But, I will never go back to Casio again. TI is fantastic.
BTW: I teach college-level engineering mechanics. TI-84 plus is good enough for most engineering courses, but I will recommend a newer/higher version.

We disprove how the TI controls the market and had refused to buy one for a long time. On the other hand, I’m so glad that I ordered one a couple weeks ago. My 9th grader was able to use TI during his math test right away! I often pays just as much for a Cross fountain pen anyway!

I don't know how TI made the list of "qualified calculators for tests", but surely its a sweet deal for them. Year after year, high schools kids have to buy them. To me the tech on these calculators are kind of ancient, and any $5 app on the smart phone can beat it easily.

There’s now literally little value in buying an Xbox IF you have a very good gaming PC. Most if not all Xbox (and non exclusive PS) titles will go to PC per Microsoft’s Phil Spencer. Even PlayStation is slowly starting to go that route; the value of that PS5 hardware is now questionable with its PS NOW going to PC with 90% Sony exclusives being there already and most will appear some day.

Long story short, if you have a PC, you’ll still be in business without any console whatsoever. Xbox is almost redundant in that case, but PlayStation may still hold value as your single console for couch gaming.

Just my opinion.

If you think Xbox UI is complicated, I don't really know what to say. It's quite customizable and most of the important functions are in the guide button by just holding it down. Agreed, I have an Xbox one, and I have no substantial issues with the ux, I do find it annoying when I try to prioritize the order of my downloads, but its a minor and occasional annoyance. Replacing a PS3 or PS4 hard drive is so easy that you only need to take out 1 or 2 screws. Replacing a Xbox hard drive or doing any upgrade is so difficult. I just don't like the way they design it and made it so freakin hard to made any future hardware changes. And please, I am not a spam robot.

"In order to reach the hard drive, you’ll have to rip apart the case, remove the console speaker and WiFi board, then unscrew and remove the chassis. From there, you’ll have access to the Blu-ray drive and the hard drive"

When I replacing my PS3 and PS4 hard drive, it was so freakin easy. 2 screws on PS3, 1 screw on PS4, then just pull it out directly from bay

Most US high schools use this particular calculator, teachers provide commands based on this calculator, so even lets say Casio has same capability or better for half the price, students don't want to mess up and try to figure themselves how to use that. Just a quick update. I shipped the glue stick back as I mentioned, and from my Amazon account I could see the seller approved the return. But there was no refund status showing, and after waiting another week I still did not get my money back. So this past Saturday I contacted Amazon customer service again, and the representative filed an Amazon A-to-z Guarantee claim for me. A couple of minutes ago I received a message that my credit card got the refund, but the return shipping cost was not included. I believe if you are facing the same issue with the seller, just contact Amazon directly. According to customer service, you don’t even need to ship the glue stick back to get the refund. In my humble opinion, Amazon did a great job handling this.

Calling them now. //@anonymous: Just a quick update. I shipped the glue stick back as I mentioned, and from my Amazon account I could see the seller approved the return. But there was no refund status showing, and after waiting another week I still did not get my money back. So this past Saturday I contacted Amazon customer service again, and the representative filed an Amazon A-to-z Guarantee claim for me. A couple of minutes ago I received a message that my credit card got the refund, but the return shipping cost was not included. I believe if you are facing the same issue with the seller, just contact Amazon directly. According to customer service, you don’t even need to ship the glue stick back to get the refund. In my humble opinion, Amazon did a great job handling this.

FYI having used 2 brother sewing machines they are great for beginners but the motor does not like to run continuously for longer than say 3min. Smells like burning plastic
