These processors perform no difference in most daily use than your newest i9. I'm even using a 1st gen i5 520m and I don't see it slower than any new laptops. SSD and memory are still the bottleneck. //@Anonymous: All crapy laptops with old gen processors

The iphones are not unlocked. You have to have them for a full year of service before they can be unlocked and then you only have a 30 day window to unlock before it resets and you have to wait another year.
