I'm not sure I agree, the benchmarks for the i-7 8700 are alot better than those for the Ryzen 7 2700. If you are really concerned about the 99 bucks, maybe, they are both monsters. Still, why do you think the Ryzen is a better deal? //@Anonymous: nspiron 5676 Desktop: Ryzen 7 2700, 16GB DDR4, 1TB HDD, RX 580 4GB
$600 is a better deal.

Ah yes you would need to add a graphics card to this setup, at least 250 additional. I stand corrected. //@Anonymous: Ryzen has decent graphics card and this one does not. //@anonymous: I'm not sure I agree, the benchmarks for the i-7 8700 are alot better than those for the Ryzen 7 2700. Also, only a 460w power supply, thus difficult to add a decent graphics card

AMD will release new CPUs with much lower prices. So, Dell need to lower this price to clear their shelves. Try to google. Ryzen 7nm //@Anonymous: Why 7/7? //@anonymous: Wait until 7/7, this price will be dropped to $400 and still no one want to buy this.

:) I have a Dell XPS 8700 that I got in 2013, also for 7 or 800. The integrated graphics card died after about 4 or 5 years. With a $70 replacement, it's still as good as day 1, with heavy use. YMMV. It's an i7-4700, which is enough for my non-gaming needs. //@Anonymous: avoid this brand if you.

Can we add a graphic card for this machine? Is the case for standard card or full length card?

You need to upgrade power supply and fan to use powerful GPUs. Something like gtx1660 or 1070 may be fine. Correct me if I was wrong. //@anonymous: Can we add a graphic card for this machine? Is the case for standard card or full length card?
