Even when Vive/Oculus first came out, this setup was considered low-end for VR. 4 years later, it's not a good deal.

It came out last year, so the people who said it's old are mistaken. However, Ryzen CPUs are still kicking its butt. //@anonymous: Is i5-9400 4 years old? //@Anonymous: Even when Vive/Oculus first came out, this setup was considered low-end for VR. 4 years later, it's not a good deal.

Beware of keyboard issue. The space bar constantly stuck to the side.

For people that want a pre-built, gaming-only computer, you could do a lot worse for $750. Remember you need to pay close to $100 for Windows alone, and if you say you can get your OS cheaper, then clearly you are not the targeted audience. I would however spend extra $30 to get another stick of 8GB ram and stick it in.
Having said that, this is definitely NOT a VR-ready rig despite the name.
