Fun stuff that I'll rarely use. Why do I keep buying these things?

But you do not have many choices if you need one for your house. Unless you can get it made in somewhere in Asia. BTW, this device seems work fine and give your close to 'real time' readings //@Anonymous: overpriced, should be $9.90

You can get a test kit from nearby lab and get the result back in about 1 week (2 days for gathering sample, 2 days for running test in lab). The cost is about $75. The result is very accurate. Professional inspectors would prefer lab or more expensive machine.

I have two randon monitoring devices including this one. I am able to compare bot. I would like to say readings from this device are pretty accurate, because both give me similar results. //@anonymous: You can get a test kit from nearby lab and get the result back in about 1 week (2 days for gathering sample, 2 days for running test in lab). I do not how could you spend that much. You can actually do the same by purchasing a testing kit from amazon @$15 including all cost to get the final results //@anonymous: You can get a test kit from nearby lab and get the result back in about 1 week (2 days for gathering sample, 2 days for running test in lab). I use this to continuously monitor radon levels in my home, which changes slightly depending on weather. If you have a radon mitigation system, this device helps to verify that your system is working properly. If you are checking radon for a real estate transaction, I would go with a professional inspector who provides a written report. It all depends on what you want to use the radon information for. //@Anonymous: I do not how could you spend that much. The real estate inspection tests are one and done. This lasts for years with the included batteries, and updates continuously, so who's stupid now?
