Why are these so expensive? It is essentially a printer.

Market share? Fewer people buy these, I assume, which means lower demand to defray overhead. Also, I suspect the ink/toner is of a different, more expensive composition to account for the use, and the mechanisms must handle heavier media. Kind of makes sense to me, though I am no expert in ANY OF THESE FIELDS... //@Anonymous: Why are these so expensive? It is essentially a printer.

all label printers use thermal transfer technology, no ink/toner consumption at all, the thermal transfer has the advantage of low consumable cost and fast printing, but the downside is considerably low printing resolution. And the thermal mechanism dominated most of its cost. This dual printer model should be used in a fast pace environment like takeout counter to double printer efficiency and at this price point, this one is unbeatable //@Anonymous: Market share? NO, I'm sorry to say, UPS shipping label is 4*6" and this model doesn't support that size //@anonymous: can I print a USPS shipping label with this? is the barcode good enough for USPS to read?

Just curious, the Mac mini same spec comes to 550$ is the monitor portion worth the extra $1,000? I meant if you buy a decent external monitor would it suffice the experience?

iMac also includes keyboard and mouse. But for me I don't think the screen itself worth the difference in price. //@anonymous: Just curious, the Mac mini same spec comes to 550$ is the monitor portion worth the extra $1,000? And beside keyboard and mouse it also has camera and built in mic. So you don't need peripherals to have a video call. //@anonymous: Just curious, the Mac mini same spec comes to 550$ is the monitor portion worth the extra $1,000? The moment roku call their (air quote) channel as (air quote) apps, like everyone else. They are golden!

Bought Roku and fire tv a few years ago. Now Roku is still usable with software update, not fire tv stuff //@anonymous: get a Onn android tv stick for $20 or firetv stick for the same price, much better deal than the super old school roku device. i really don't know why Roku is still around. so boring

We have firesticks on all our tvs. Picked up a new tv for our bedroom that happened to have roku built in, I have to say I'm impressed with the roku os. Easy to navigate, apps never hang or need to be manually closed like on the firestick sometime.

Roku is much easier to use, with all the channels well organized and easy to navigate. Like it a lot. //@Anonymous: We have firesticks on all our tvs. Picked up a new tv for our bedroom that happened to have roku built in, I have to say I'm impressed with the roku os. For many years of dealsea-er, i have plenty of unused out dated laptop i bought from dealsea. I plugged 7 of them into my 7 tvs and still have surpluses. I dont need any more streamer like roku. Thank you.

Same here, and not just tech devices. But I've decided that the net savings across all things I've bought through Dealsea outweighs the few things that end up unused. //@Anonymous: For many years of dealsea-er, i have plenty of unused out dated laptop i bought from dealsea.
