I would recommend 24 than 27 for a 1080P monitor //@Anonymous: Bestbuy has 27inch for the same price //@Anonymous: Good deal?

1080 is good for up to 24”, it’s horrible for 27” unless you never read text on the monitor. You need at least 1440 QHD on 27. //@anonymous: Bestbuy has 27inch for the same price //@Anonymous: Good deal?

$197 now

remember, FHD = Full HD = its only 1080p.
and yes for 27', highly recommend 1440 or 2160 (4K). the price wasn't much different. Go do your research for 1440. you wont regret it to upgrade to UHD (1440) instead of just stick to FHD (1080p) cuz its cheap. If you use the monitor on daily basis, invest better ones. Long usage help your eyes as well.

Regular price was $119, then $129, $134, and now $145 and call it a deal? Go back to $109 and we got a deal for HP’s lowest priced monitor.

Anonymous
MSRP is $119. The pandemic is overall. It’s a budget but flimsy monitor but definitely beat any competition at $119. However, anything >= $119 is no deal.

1)App compatibility issue, you have to use Rosetta2 for most software. 2)Unified memory architecture causes extremely excessive rewriting on SSD which is soldered and irreplaceable. //@sza: Don't be the beta testers. It is horrible to install modules in Apple ml to do ML/DL. for example, still don't know how to install pytorch, don't know how to install hdf5 and so on. Don't buy at this moment.

not really. Just use Rosetta for intel applications. The performance is not too shabby compared to newer intel CPUs.

7200 rpm for a NAS drive, which WD Red is technically designed for, is almost an oxymoron. Unless you are on 2.5 Gbps setup, a 5400 rpm drive will effectively use up all the network bandwidth on sustained read/write. If you care about burst read/write speed, then why bother with a HDD on the first place.
