Just FYI, its ram is soldered and not expandable. Window 11 with 8G ram can easily reach 90%+ memory usage. It is ok for light daily use, e.g. web browsing or watch online streams. But it may not be proper for other purpose. For example, if you are working on your tax report in TurboTax while opening a couple of chrome browser tabs, the ram usage will definitely exceed 90%. Someone may think it can be used on course work. However, opening VSCODE or other IDEs can easily make its ram usage 90%+ as well.
It is with a low-power 4 core CPU N150 which is kindly weak, too.
One should probably spend a little bit more to get a better one.

The eight core N305 used to be sale at this price level, at least the processor would have twice the number of cores.

It's just a regular price, not a deal at all. 7730U , a CPU released 4 years ago, FHD screen..., $499 deserves a laptop with better configurations.

Not too bad considering the onging RAM shortage and storage shortages. The brand SSD itself is 100 dollars. The 16GB RAM would be another 100 dollars.
