Is this a good deal?

Not so much. If instead of Core i7-1065G7 it uses a Ryzen 4800U, I would consider it a deal. //@Anonymous: Is this a good deal?

If it had a Ryzen 4500u, price would be at least $1350. //@Anonymous: Not so much. If instead of Core i7-1065G7 it uses a Ryzen 4800U, I would consider it a deal. //@Anonymous: Is this a good deal?

Lol, this post has almost the same specs as the Macbook below it. Look at the price difference!

Not nearly the quality of the Mac though. There is a reason for the cheaper price of the Lenovo. //@Anonymous: Lol, this post has almost the same specs as the Macbook below it. Look at the price difference!

I’ve had my MacBook Air for close to 6 years, running Windows no less. The most I’ve ever gotten out of a PC laptop is 4 years. My workplace plans to replace PC laptops every 5 years, but mine usually breaks after 2, 3 years. HDD crashes, etc.

It boils down to how often you want/need a new laptop and dealing with file transfers.

I've had my dell 15 inch laptop since 2013. The power interface is finally starting to show signs that it might fail, hence I am shopping for a new one. In my experience (I've had Windows laptops since 1999), the power interface or the wires that go to the display are the first to go. I've had some that only last about 2 years, and I've had many that make it 5+. Usually by that point I'm ready to get a new one anyway. //@Anonymous: I’ve had my MacBook Air for close to 6 years, running Windows no less. The most I’ve ever gotten out of a PC laptop is 4 years. Lenovo is equal to bad quality!
For better life, keep away from Lenovo!
Had very bad experience with two of their flagship Thinkpad products!

My university buys us the think yoga line, I'm on my third (we keep them for 3 years). I like them bc the power connector is square and seems less likely to fail than most laptops. But I'm sorry to hear about your experience //@anonymous: Lenovo is equal to bad quality!
