There is no indication on the box that says ASTM Level 3. Level 3 is almost like N95, there are a lot of mis-represented information out there. I have tried to buy Level 3 masks and have found ones on eBay and/or Amazon to be almost 100% fake. Keep in mind, even level 1 masks are 3-ply. Level 3 is a whole different animal, do not be tricked!

Costco's are not Level 3. Costco only carries BYD masks for general uses which are much cheaper than Level 3 masks. //@Anonymous: Local Costco has BYD level 3 masks for $6.99 for a while.

These are indeed ASTM Level 3 masks. It's said on the box that I purchased from Amazon.

The green box is Level 3 surgical mask. Read the description on the box carefully.
The blue box is level 2.
The one sold in Costco is not surgical level that's why they are cheap.
BYD mask quality is so far the best I used. Have used more than 10, 20 boxes surgical BYD masks since pandemic started in 2019.

yes, at least from my local COSTCO, it says clearly LEVEL 3. Guess YMMV or it's very regional.

ASTM Level-1 is >=95% filtration vs level-3 is >=98% filtration plus anti-splashing, when these masks achieve 100% sealing. This kind of mask can never be sealed 100%, not even 70-80%. So 3% difference on filtration doesn't matter much.
