you need to unlock it from third party site by paying money, or talk to ATT for unlocking it after accepting to all their conditions. //@Anonymous: Is this a specific phone for prepaid only? Just because a phone is unlocked , does not mean that you can install another operating system on it. You need to be able to root a phone to install a different os. //@anonymous: So I can install another OS on it. //@Anonymous: before this can be answered, why do you need to unlock it? //@Anonymous: is it unlocked?

Can the phone be unlocked after one year service is done by calling customer service representative to unlock the phone?
Anonymous
Yes, normally they can unlock your phone in the first day of the 12th month. For example if you activate the phone on 1/25, you can request unlock on 1/1 of next year. //@anonymous: Can the phone be unlocked after one year service is done by calling customer service representative to unlock the phone?
