I got a blink mini camera for like $10 on sale to add onto existing camera system. Way better value and functionality compared to this $45 myQ cam. But I don't recommend Blink doorbell cam either because battery life is poor.

Just curious, the Mac mini same spec comes to 550$ is the monitor portion worth the extra $1,000? I meant if you buy a decent external monitor would it suffice the experience?

iMac also includes keyboard and mouse. And beside keyboard and mouse it also has camera and built in mic.
