Samsung business dropping all around. Expect 1TB SSD to drop by 15% and 4TB to drop 40% by year end. External 4TBs will become be cheap as there will be push for 8TB. PC memory and SSD prices continue to fall into year because China will be banning PC memory and SSD from Korea/Japan/US due to chip war. PC chips are low-end. China can manufacture their own PC chips and only want to buy mobile and AI chips.

This is not a good price at all, you can buy 980 pro 1TB @ $50, 990 pro 1TB @ $60 and sn850x 2TB @ $90 last week.

Died after few weeks no charge. Only to fix it is to get a new one. Now its in trash and $100 bucks in water. No way to replace battery, such a stupid design.

Samsung recently subtly changed the parts of the 970 EVOs, and as such performance took a small but noticeable hit. Anyone interested should pay close attention to which version they are getting, as the new model does have a new SKU.

Now is half a penny per 100M. Will be quarter a penny per 100M by the end of 2023. CPU and memory demand will continue to fall as cypto mining dies down. I miss mine. It broke down after 6 or 7 faithful years. I updated to the Barista Pro, but I miss the more straightforward utility of the express. The pressure gauge is a nice feature to help dial in shots.

It will last a long time if you keep the steam wand clean. I let mine get gunked up and it eventually blew out the pump. Fixing it was going to cost like $300, so I just bought another one and it's been doing great.
