We haven't had success with these when something was lost. Tile was no good when we lost something at an amusement park. We know it was left there, but finding it is a different story. These were no help on a stroller at an amusement park.

Probably because it's loud and you can't hear it beep and the stroller won't come to you when called. ;) We have lost 3 of these type of devices. I continually get alerted when I'm using my wife's keys/car that someone could be tracking me which is annoying as well. It is always advisable to buy the latest Apple products because you get so many great new features.
