Watch the price. I got one for 20 before (Target I believe). I have also gotten the 2 series for $20, which is the same thing, minus the stickers and a slightly different brush head. I like Sonicare.

Mold collector, pass

I have to say that I agree with the mold collector comment. I saw mold comments in reviews before I purchased this toothbrush and thought that just by keeping the brush off the unit would prevent this. It doesn't. I love the results this toothbrush provides- unmatched to other products like braun's oral B, but the build up in mine is disgusting, and there is no good way to clean it. This price is the best I've seen on this unit, so you can try, just know all attempts to keep clean will fail.

You need to clean the underneath of the toothbrush head weekly to keep it clean and operate efficiently.

Agree! The mold is hard to get rid of. But I love its long battery life and price. //@Anonymous: I have to say that I agree with the mold collector comment. I've used an essence toothbrush for 9 years and it is still going strong. It's really a sturdy model.

You can get 6-pack of the E series replacement heads for under $40 at Costco when they are on sale. //@Anonymous: The brush head replacement is so expensive. 2-pack for $20 on amazon?

Way better than oral b

I would suggest spending a little bit more money to get a series 2 instead. The series 2 replacement heads are much more affordable, and it makes much more sense too: why we need to throw away the two small piece of magnets attaching to the replacement head every single time?

You probably never used Philips before. Oral b is not even close. Oral b feels like the $5 electric toothbrush kids use. //@anonymous: Braun oral b better!! //@anonymous: Philips makes the best electric toothbrush.

Just bought it for 30 bucks two days ago from Amazon and Amazon won’t adjust the price even for a prime member. But are ok to return the item and order the same one for a lower price. How is this helping anyone ? SMH. We seriously need a competitor for Amazon.

Brush heads are more expensive for this older model, so you pay more in the long run.
