A Switch Pro/Ultra/Max should come out this year. Or we may get a new console in the next couple of years. Nintendo sticks to 7-8 year runs per console iteration.

Just got ours. The adapter has a universal voltage range from 100V to 240V with the parallel 2-prong plug, which is compatible with the US 120V outlets. //@Anonymous: My guess the difference is the power adapter.
