Bought one-year old Samsung entry-level tablet and returned it due to sluggishness. Having one 8-year iPad Pro and still no signs of slow-down. Not for gaming though.

If it doesn’t affect performance, why do you care the RAM is 8 or 16 GB? Value for the money should not be judged based on specifications/configuration. //@anonymous: 256GB 8GB RAM, 512GB 8GB RAM; 1TB 16GB RAM, 2TB 16GB RAM

You need to understand how Apple’s unified memory architecture works and how “8 GB” is split between GPU and CPU. So when you are providing 8 gb for 11” and same 8 gb for 13”, is 11” M4 overpowered and is a better value or is 13” m4 underpowered and needs more memory. QED. //@anonymous: If it doesn’t affect performance, why do you care the RAM is 8 or 16 GB? For the record 13” iPad is 40% bigger area-wise than the 11” iPad. //@anonymous: You need to understand how Apple’s unified memory architecture works and how “8 GB” is split between GPU and CPU. It really depends on what you plan on using Apple Products for. Personally, I purchased the Air 5th specifically to use Procreate. Before buying it, I tested out various apps and demos but found them to be lacking in brushes and features, and some were difficult to use. Adobe demos, for example, were too expensive at 50 dollars a month. In contrast, Procreate only costs 12.99 for a one-time purchase. They also have a new Procreate Dream for animation coming soon at 9.99 for a one-time purchase. Personally, I prefer one-time purchases over subscriptions. //@Anonymous: i avoid all aPPLE products since those are way overpriced...

Don’t buy. This model will be at most supported to 2026. Newer iOS won’t allow you to install even if you think the device is able to run the new iOS. All relevant apps will die and run into dead loops between app opening and app updating. Then it becomes a plastic trash and only fool Facebook people for 30 bucks
