noisy fan beware. I bought this laptop for my 9 year old's birthday. He was excited to receive it but in was dismayed to learn that the fan runs constantly and is too loud. I accidentally tally purchased 2 of these computers and was going to keep the second one to give to his brother for Christmas. But after I unpacked this computer, I decided immediately that the second computer is going back. I may very well return this one, too, even though my son says he doesn't mind the noisy fan because he is wearing headphones.

you can buy a referbished thinkpad 2016,2017 model on ebay for around $400. the build quality is much better than a new $400 dell laptop. //@anonymous: Since this is deal site. Is this a decent deal? I am a developer and looking for a laptop with $400.00.
