Fire TV Cube will support sleep timers later this year. Alexa Calling & Messaging, Bluetooth sync, and multi-room music are not currently supported on Fire TV Cube. //@Anonymous: can you still use it if you don't have Echo?

I understand that Echo is built in, in this with 8 different microphones. I am blown away at the price point. Only concern is sound quality is probably not too great. //@Anonymous: can you still use it if you don't have Echo?

This thing hooks up to your TV or your home theater system, not a standalone speaker like your Echo. Should be a nice upgrade on the Fire TV or Stick.

not completely true. the spec says "Built-in speaker for voice feedback—even when the TV is off", so it is more of hybrid of echo dot (small speaker for feedback), regular echo (8 microphones), and fire tv. //@Anonymous: This thing hooks up to your TV or your home theater system, not a standalone speaker like your Echo. Lack of height adjustment is a problem, otherwise would be very tempting. I sit right in front of monitor, so viewing angle (IPS vs TN) is not an issue. As far as height adjustment - shouldn't be a problem for tall folks, just put a book under it. But for shorties like me could be an issue.
