Does anyone have good advice (specifications+price) for a good monitor for programming purposes. (I don't play video games but do run a lot of heavy computations.) Added plus would be monitors which can be used both horizontally and vertically and can be kept on a desk or hung on the wall. Thanks a ton!

I bought recently two 2K ( 2560 x 1440) monitors AOC Q27V3 from office max. Currently they are selling for $180. The deal was found here, dealsea, for $130. They had this deal twice with a couple of weeks interval between events. I bought them for work, not to play games and they perfectly fit my needs. //@Anonymous: Does anyone have good advice (specifications+price) for a good monitor for programming purposes. Only the graphics card worth more than $600 nowadays! Overpriced or not is not absolutely, you need to think about the situation. I build my own computer, spent more than $1600, all the other parts are good, but no graphics card! Because the graphics card price is too high! //@anonymous: these configurations are over priced

It’s not worthy. 1. Memory speed is 2666 MHz, limited by i5, even slower than any decent laptop 2933 MHz). The 11th gen CPU supports 3200MHz. 2. 2060 graphic card is way outdated, not worthy to own and everything from NVdia is way over priced.
