Yes, I bought the certificate and trade in local costco for a membership.
Not sure about my case since I had costco membership until Feb 2017. But people in costco said last time I got a member there is 2014? They also convinced me to upgrade to the black card + costco visa card. I spend $60 more that day, was told will get $80 in cash instead of $20, 3 gifts and all the benefits of black card and visa card. Got a black card to use right at the site, still wait for visa card and other benefits to arrive now.

Most of my computers at home were HP's in last 20 years. I never had any issues with them. One of them sw6000, I bought in early 2000's and it still works as a file server in my home network.
