If only it wasn't a Dell. I'm yet to buy a Dell that doesn't have a sub-par lifespan. Any HP Deals?

Never have issues with Dell’s. Dell is actually preferable than HP, at least on their servers lineup.

Best are Dell, Acer, Asus, HP and worst is Lenovo. This is a good deal here. //@Anonymous: If only it wasn't a Dell. I'm yet to buy a Dell that doesn't have a sub-par lifespan. Any HP Deals?

Sad when you see someone attack others when getting called out on their prejudice opinions. Someone obviously is angry after reading stuff online but didn’t even experience or confirm any of it on their own. Just sad. This is a deal site, get over yourself and stop attacking others and companies that sell stuff. //@anonymous: If Samsung never stated anything wrong then they won't be release a fix would they? your statement makes not sense, and the fact that Puget Systems that reported this to Samsung as their customers was having fail drives and Samsung responded to them on having a new Firmware fix.
"The affected version of the firmware is 3B2QGXA7, though Puget Systems claims that drives running the 4B2QGXA7 firmware should be fine, even if Samsung is recommended the more recent update. Quote from PCGamer.
"Samsung's not having a great time with its SSDs right now. Not only is the 980 Pro at risk of imminent death if it's not updated, there are numerous reports of the newer 990 Pro drives suffering from declining health(opens in new tab). In the same SSD Magician software that can come to the rescue of the 980 Pro, users are reporting(opens in new tab) issues with the drive health of their new SSDs rapidly dropping." Qoute from PCGamer.
A simple search would tell you this already. As for the so call fix only time will tell if it really does or not. So you need to chill and quit writing B.S online. As I had stated before one should be caution with this drive, your data can be at risk! This is not the first time Samsung have F-up some of their SSD! //@Anonymous: Sounded legit but you did not state facts. Samsung never said there was anything wrong and all reports show the latest firmware corrects the issue some were getting from a retailer in China. Stop exaggerating and making additional stories up. //@anonymous: Currently there is a issue with the 980 pro 2T model that can cause data corruption or lost of all data. The 500Gig and 1T are not affected so far. Samsung claim they will release a update to fix this.... just don't know when or will it really fix it! Buyers beware and still a good deal if it's for a game drive, only nothing important. //@Anonymous: Stop making up terms that don’t exist in tech for tech items to try and slander. //@anonymous: Samsung's 980 Pro SSDs have declining Health Issues

Don’t fall for the gaslighting some competitors have been doing. This is a great price on this SSD.
