Reviews are not complimentary. Peeling color, melting parts, cheap construction. Thanks, no.

Amazon provides a super high original price and let you feel that you got a great deal. Walmart has the same price with $15 original price. I never bought this with $24 as Amazon advertised.

The difference is the trigger method - cheaper one is manual and expensive one is by battery. I personally liked the manual one better as the battery may die over time if you don't use at once. //@Anonymous: the same thing is on the following link on the amazon web for half. This fridge sucks ass - my inlaws have one. Ice tray freezes all the time and you need to change the filter regularly. Avoid.

Totally agreed. Both have fancy features but don't last. You can have a fancy one that breaks quickly or you can have a old fashion one that last a while. //@Anonymous: Just Say No to LG and Samsung fridges

Fun fact: GE appliance is owned by Haier. I bought a GE fridge in 2013 and it still runs strong. //@Anonymous: Bought my Maytag at 2009 with ice maker and still running good without any problems //@anonymous: Which alternatives do you suggest? //@Anonymous: Just Say No to LG and Samsung fridges

I bought a Samsung looks almost the same in 2013 no issues, sell the house with it. Will buy another one. I did not use the ice maker though, don’t trust the tap water, always drink bottle.

Samsung/LG, Kenmore Elite by LG are not worth buying. compressor will give out in the first 3 years. Sealed system is replaced by aluminum instead of copper to save money. Just ask any repair tech, once they hear its Samsung or LG, they will not come out. My 2 cents, but now you know.
