i careless how fast or how good the ipad is, its still an ipad and no way i will pay 800 for it. I will pay 300-500 which is reasonable. but what is reasonable and what is not varies from person to person. however, given the discount on a new model tells me that apples pricing it too steep.

Not very reliable with the professional monitoring. Once when the alarm went off and I was not home, a message was left by computer on my phone. Unlike what they advertise no human called and they didn’t call the police either.

I disagree, you must try it yourself first. Set the mode to "Away" open your main door and do NOT "Disarm", You will get called. They learned it from apple but they are no apple. After my terrible experience with my surface 3 (screen designed to crack), I returned my surface pro 6 and kept my iPad 11. I would have kept it, had it been 800dollars for 256gb.

While the keyboard is indeed excellent, the pen is not comparable to Apple Pencil in terms of comfort and closeness to real writing — a shortcoming exacerbated even further by the lack of good apps in comparison to the strong app support in Apple (noteshelf, MarginNote, liquidtext to name just a few).

I have absolutely zero problem with my Surface Book 2 (8GB, 256GB SSD) that I bought 2 years ago; it works like a champ and eerily silent. I love the pen too! Surface pro is a notebook with real windows operation system. It is not a toy for children or just a time-killer tool.
