Know what you are buying. People going to realize how lame and gimmicky this is after a few days. The wheels will clog up with hair and dust and need constant cleaning. Most families don't have enough space to have a proper creative track in their house. And you have to lay down the track and break it up. Unless you have an empty room dedicated to for this toy. It's not worth it and will definitely start collecting dust after people get tired of it within days.

The concept is nice but reality the game getting boring if you play offline within a few days. Besides the space you can create a course to run around. Imagine you stop playing for a few hours. Do you clean up the mess you made? What about the next day you play. Make another course over and over.

Yeah while the concept is definitely cool I think ultimately this would appeal more to kids than adults. //@anonymous: small kids just like play things again and again like that! //@Anonymous: The concept is nice but reality the game getting boring if you play offline within a few days. I got two of these before when dealsea had them listed. They’ve been excellent. They are fun on their own but there is also progression to add new things over time if you take the time to really play with the game.

I generally avoid newly released electronic devices as they tend to be plagued with issues.
I would rather wait a few months or a year due to scalpers ruining things before considering buying it.

The funny thing is Japanese version is much cheaper (50000 yen, around 330 dollars) and then region-locked. Feels like go back to 3DS Nintendo period.

Would they have any trade-in program for the 1st gen?

I don't think they need to do anything at all to incentivise purchases. People will be clamoring over each other just to pay full price for one //@anonymous: Would they have any trade-in program for the 1st gen?

You sound so miserable. If true hope you feel better bc really no one needed to hear this. //@anonymous: I generally avoid newly released electronic devices as they tend to be plagued with issues.

They also sell one that is not region locked for 70,000 JPY, so about the same or little more based on the conversion. And before you complain, in Japan most people don’t care about region lock. They don’t play import games. //@anonymous: The funny thing is Japanese version is much cheaper (50000 yen, around 330 dollars) and then region-locked. Feels like go back to 3DS Nintendo period.
