I have been really frustrated with my myQ hub and sensor. Every few months I have to reset it because the hub loses its connection to the sensor, or the hub stops either opening or closing the door (or both). I will say that the myQ customer support chat/phone is really courteous and helpful, but the equipment itself seems very finicky. It's a great idea but it just doesn't seem like a very polished product yet.

My experience has been totally different. I have this installed at two different homes and it works wonderfully. It's especially useful for my elderly mother so she can let people in or out through the garage from her phone, and get her Amazon (and now Walmart+) deliveries safely indoors and get to them when she wants. No issues at all. It is weak on picking up Wi-Fi signals, but if worse comes to worse just install an extender.
Everything works great with Amazon Alexa, so I use Ring cameras rather than spending money for a specific one that Chamberlain tries to sell. //@Anonymous: I have been really frustrated with my myQ hub and sensor. Please also let people know you have to pay to Chamberlain $10/month to get this feature, this device supported third-party applications before which means people was able to use Apple CarPlay/HomeKit etc to control their garage doors, but Chamberlain has shut down it, it's a shame, that's why I don't recommend MyQ anymore. //@Anonymous: Tesla use this device as well and you can automatically open your garage when your car is certain distance approaching or close your garage automatically when your tesla is leaving.
