Micro Center has a 14 inch model with almost identical configurations for $199. I think it's a better deal if you have a Micro Center near you.

Just keep in mind that Gateway basically means entry-level, meaning it has cheap components and will not last long.

Why is this a deal at all?
Staple had 17 laptop with better cpu and ssd, for only $399.

Terrible deal. For $75 more, staple has the one that is 2x the CPU, 2x the SSD capacity, and more importantly -- lets you upgrade the memory. This Walmart laptop is capped at 8G ram which is the bare minimum for Windows 10/11 today. The way Edge and Chrome spawns threads and how Windows 11 is expected to change, 8G won't last long.
