2022 M2 13" 8gb 256gb $899 is a better deal IMO. Most people won't need the extra RAM. Apple Silicon is great with RAM management.

with 8GB ram, system automatically uses part of SSD for cache. The result is much shorter life of SSD. Unfortunately SSD is not an easy DIY, if even possible. //@Anonymous: 2022 M2 13" 8gb 256gb $899 is a better deal IMO. Most people won't need the extra RAM.
