It's true, I had an echo dot, until Echo used everything my wife likes to woo her away from me. I would come home to hear whispers and giggles from those two flirting. It was a torrid love affair, woman and machine, an unstoppable force. I came in one day to see her and Echo, bags packed and ready for a whirlwind adventure to the tropics. Not true. I had fire tv for 2 years and switched to Apple TV 4K.. whole different experience. Apple TV 4K is reliable, stunning video quality, intutive and user friendly interface are few to list advantages. Will never go back to fire tv. upgrade your firmware for your fire TV, I have fire TV for 1.5 yrs. no issues. And try not to use wifi, use internet cable directly to stabilize the streaming. there's lots more TV box better than Apple
