Why is prepaid so cheap than post paid. What's the catch. 16GB is a lot if you are not streaming

prepaid has low priority when network is congested. data rate gets throttled. //@Anonymous: Why is prepaid so cheap than post paid. What's the catch. 16GB is a lot if you are not streaming

there's no catch! most people don't want to pay for the phone upfront so they fall into postpay trap and end up paying more for service! I have gone prepaid route for years with AT&T and super happy. If you make it family plan its soo cheap (at least with at&t) //@Anonymous: Why is prepaid so cheap than post paid. What's the catch. 16GB is a lot if you are not streaming

Why the 1st month bill is higher? Verizon is short of cash flow?

You could get unlimited with 40$ per month per line if you have 4 lines in your plan.

Is this a specific phone for prepaid only? I ask because my att go phone was like that and could not be used outside of North America, so it wasn’t able to be used internationally when I traveled.

you need to unlock it from third party site by paying money, or talk to ATT for unlocking it after accepting to all their conditions. //@Anonymous: Is this a specific phone for prepaid only? My experiences with their CS were pretty good, really like their online chat. But LTE speed on their GSMA(At&t) is trash, at most 25Mbps, comparing to T-mobile's over 120Mbps in my Area. //@Anonymous: I’m on red pocket. Not getting LTE, only 3G. What about customers with 2 x 2 lines (familyplan)? My total comes to 160$ monthly hence 40$ per line.

I have the same plan, and CS said we have to add another line and get a free one, it means we'll have a total of SIX lines, and the price shown is NOT including taxes and fees, so when it all said and done, we'll be paying at least the same if not more than currently. SCAM! if you ask me. //@Anonymous: What about customers with 2 x 2 lines (familyplan)? My total comes to 160$ monthly hence 40$ per line.

I am T-Mobile customer with 1 line, would like to port over my other lines from cricket, and asked this promotion online. The following is the response:
If you'd like to avail the offer, we will need 2 voice lines, then you'll get a free line. Then, we'll port over your line from cricket, and you already have one line on your account, that makes 5 lines in total.

I was with T-Mobile before, the worst customer service. Now I'm paying $100 per month 4 lines (tax and fees are included) with Cricket. Unlimited everything, best reception, and very helpful customer service!! 3 years of best experience with Cricket.
