One minor comment: if apply coupon code, you will not be able to use Guest Checkout (i.e., you need to create/have a newegg account, which is easy though).

does the Deluxe + State actually include State? I still got charged last year for just have one State filing.

You have to pay for state e-filing. //@Anonymous: does the Deluxe + State actually include State? I still got charged last year for just have one State filing.

They claimed state is included but every year I had to pay extra to file for state. Yes, state is ready in the software but you have to pay extra to use it. Very misleading.

state is included. If you print and mail your return, it is free. Just pay for the stamps. Why are people complaining? Maybe they should pay more for TurboTax or other software

You pay for e-filing. If you print out and mail to IRS, there will be no charge. //@Anonymous: They claimed state is included but every year I had to pay extra to file for state. Yes, state is ready in the software but you have to pay extra to use it. Very misleading.

NY state e-file are free. It says 5 free fed e-file. But what about state e-file? Is it included?
Anonymous
The free eFiling is for Federal returns only, eFiling for State costs extra. However, I'm sure many states may offer free online filing from their individual websites. Then you can simply transfer the relevant numbers from the State return portion yourself. //@Anonymous: It says 5 free fed e-file. But what about state e-file? Is it included?

Strongly recommend free tax usa. Way better this crap, tons of maximizing opportunities and only pay $12/state. Federal is free.

I've used HR block for years, usually you can get delux plus state for $21ish. It logs into my stock accounts and downloads all of the capital gain/loss results automatically, which would be alot of tedious work to enter. I'm not sure about the one that you recommend, but many of the free options only do 1040ez, which won't work for those of us with higher incomes. To each their own. Good luck. //@Anonymous: Strongly recommend free tax usa. Way better this crap, tons of maximizing opportunities and only pay $12/state. Federal is free.

You can say “beware” instead of “be aware”. Just trying to help as you continue on your exciting journey of learning the English language. //@anonymous: Be aware!!!
