Ryobi system is solid for weekend warrior and DIY work. I was pleasantly surprised by the impact driver quality for the price. Has held up well for me and I like that the batteries are interchangeable.

It is great if you are one of the FEW who don't already have both these tools. Now I'm of two minds about those who need to replace their old one: if it broke then I'd probably not buy it again, but it could be a cheap way to replace it if they're not too fussy. //@Anonymous: It is great if you’re one of the MANY people who already have the batteries and charger. //@anonymous: all else you need are:A Ryobi 18v 4A battery, $35-$45, a Ryobi 18v 4A charger $30-$40. I have a rigid worm gear circular saw which I love, but it’s corded. I’m tempted to get this one to have an extra for when cordless is convenient but lower power is acceptable. //@anonymous: It is great if you are one of the FEW who don't already have both these tools. Without the 4.0 battery this tool isnt worth it. However Homedepot sells 2 / 4.0 batteries with a charger and this as a "free" tool most always with more stuff around black friday sales. I own this and other ryobi tools and the 4.0 batteries made all the difference for me I dont even use my corded tools anymore. //@Anonymous: all else you need are:A Ryobi 18v 4A battery, $35-$45, a Ryobi 18v 4A charger $30-$40. I initially bought Ridgid drill and impact driver and shortly after found they are way insufficient except being used as screwdrivers. Have to reinvest on other brands. //@anonymous: Go with Markita, Bosch or DeWalt if you want to expand your tool nicer collections. //@Anonymous: Some people like to have more expensive contractor-grade tools in the garage even though they don’t know what to do with them. Not all Makita/Milwaukee/DeWalt tools are good and not all Ridgid/Ryobi tools are bad. Choose wisely and it is really frustrating when you found the tool is no good in the middle of project. //@anonymous: Go with Markita, Bosch or DeWalt if you want to expand your tool nicer collections. //@Anonymous: Some people like to have more expensive contractor-grade tools in the garage even though they don’t know what to do with them. You maybe can not get your full amount of money for return free circular saw, right? On the other hand, why you guys doing this to take advantage of system, at the end of day, no more good deal.

I just picked mine up and returned the second tool today. Worked with no problem.
I showed the drills to an experienced contractor friend of mine and told him about the comments on Dealsea. He laughed and said these are great drills for the price. And he also said to remember the old adage, “a poor mechanic blames his tools”. //@anonymous: You maybe can not get your full amount of money for return free circular saw, right? For home users, these drills are fine for light uses. You can drill a 1/2 hole on a 2x4 stud. That is fine. However, if you want to drill a 5/8 hole on a 4x4 stud, it is a little hard work for these drills. The drills depend on motors, not on the battery. 2-4 amps battery is good enough for light use. For light works, getting $299 drill combo is better. Heavy duty drills always have a handle with it, always use it with that handle. //@Anonymous: I just picked mine up and returned the second tool today. Worked with no problem.

4Ah battery gives 2x current in use than 2Ah battery so it can double the power output on power hunger tools. Most people only consider capacity difference for run time. //@anonymous: For home users, these drills are fine for light uses. You can drill a 1/2 hole on a 2x4 stud. That is fine. 2Ah battery has 1P structure in which 5 cells connected in series to deliver 18v (3.6Vx5) whereas 4Ah battery has 2P structure in which two 5-cells packs connected in parallel. 4Ah battery doubles ampere capacity of 2Ah battery if they use the same cell. Brushless motors are much more energy efficient and further improve performance. They are also smaller, quieter and require less maintenance but more expensive. //@Anonymous: Why lol? //@anonymous: 2Ah batteries, brushed motor, lol

4Ah is twice heavier than 2Ah. It is also bulky. Why carry such a brick to drill a small hole? //@anonymous: 2Ah battery has 1P structure in which 5 cells connected in series to deliver 18v (3.6Vx5) whereas 4Ah battery has 2P structure in which two 5-cells packs connected in parallel. 4Ah battery doubles ampere capacity of 2Ah battery if they use the same cell. You can buy Milwaukee M12 FUEL 12V Brushless Hammer Drill and Impact Driver Kit from HD for $131 after canceling free battery. Watch the funny video on the Amazon site. Even if you have a garbage disposal, you are *not* supposed to just shove tons of food into it -- especially glutenous things like rice. Even if they make it through the disposal, they will eventually clog your drain really bad.

This is not a strainer. It’s to keep utensils out of the garbage disposal while still allowing water and food to go in. Got one and it works great. //@anonymous: ill give this a try. wife loves those metal net strainer things which i hate since catches all the small junk then you have to dump it in trash or compactor.

Just bought a GE from Costco and it also have various issues compares to old fridges I've had. Tbh, every brand is not like what they used to and everything is made to be disposal in just a few years. But if you bought yours from Costco, you should have 2 years vs standard 1 yr. //@Anonymous: Microwave quit working after a year. They don't even make the part needed for repair.
