X1 is pretty good deal. I paid over $1000 for mine with exact configuration just several months ago. I am overall happy with the purchase. Battery life is beyond my expectations and no overheating issue so far.

I had the 2nd generation for about 3 yrs, lightweight and sturdy, good for email, web surfing, but battery life is not good and it now holds only 60% of its original capacity now, so I have to plug in most of the time now. //@Anonymous: X1 is pretty good deal.
