Gift card can save some money. I have lost $600-800 on different gift cards, prepaid cards. Because I kept them for years, and the fund disappeared from the cards. I lost most funds from a company called GiftCardMall, the Customer service cannot help me with any lost funds.

The eBay GC is scam.
Google it, you can see how many people had their the GC stolen, both eBay and PayPal won't help you.

Most of the time you cannot combine GCs with promotional offers, that's why I stopped buying their GCs. Most of the problem with stolen GCs happened when PayPal Digital got hacked.
