Comes with a non-user-replaceable EMBEDDED battery. The day the battery dies is the day you have to ship the computer to Lenovo to replace it. I'd never buy a laptop with an "EMBEDDED" battery.

I'm the original poster. I had to replace my laptop battery after about 14 months. The battery was removable and I purchased a new one off of Amazon. Replacement took about 30 seconds. The battery that comes with this low-end Lenovo is listed as having only two cells. The battery that died on me had three cells. If your battery dies, you lose all the portability of your laptop for at least two weeks. Problem with "Embedded" batteries is the same save-a-dollar mentality of using such a system has also infected Dell and likely others. It is a total deal-breaker for me. //@Anonymous: I agree on deal

2gb memory not enough to run current version of chrome OS. The memory would be eaten out quickly after opening browser

Yes, probably true. I have several of the 4 GB model and they are good but struggle sometimes... 2 GB might be rough - read a few articles and the reviews to find out. //@Anonymous: 2gb memory not enough to run current version of chrome OS. 16 GB is ok as we could make use of the Google Drive or SD Card for storage. 2 GB RAM is not good enough.

I bought one for my 7 year old who is now having to do remote learning. This thing is definitely sluggish, but is good for what we got it for, especially at $169.

Nope. I'd rather have Raspberry Pi 4.

only 2GB could be a problem near soon since web browser would be eating more and more memory.
