NEVER EVER buy an LG or Samsung fridge. These are garbage and repair shops are dropping service for these brands.

YMMV. I never have any problems with two LG refrigerators for 8 years and 1 year.

Our LG fridge is still up and running after 14 years (french door, same as the one as picture). The only problem is the temperature circulation. The back is too cold and the front (close to the door) is too warm.

Exactly! The repair shops are loving unreliable refrigerators and brands. They make money per service call. //@Anonymous: why? //@Anonymous: NEVER EVER buy an LG or Samsung fridge. These are garbage and repair shops are dropping service for these brands.

individual opinions are often shaped by individual consumer experience. There are always plenty examples on both end of the spectrum but only a few made it to user reviews.
I have a Kenmore Elite french door unit (made by LG) that's been going strong for 13 years, zero problem.

This is junk. I bought the 25 cf model a year ago and am having many issues: veggies frozen in fridge compartment, torn rubber seals on both doors, peeled metal deco etc, ice maker like a thunder...

my piece of advice is that DO NOT EVER buy appliances from Costco. extremely bad delivery and hook-up services. I bought dryer/washer set and they came badly scatched and the delivery guy just left them. Then the installation guy came the other day and all he asked was additional fee ($300) to hook them up because my plumbing is "not up to code", which I think is quite BS since my house was built just 20 yrs ago. //@Anonymous: This is junk. I bought a similar fridge also by whirlpool last Christmas for $1500. I have no longer with fridge or installation. I know there are several similar models. I did extension research before buying anc it was recommended over Samsung, the other brand I was considering. //@anonymous: This is junk. Amazon doesn't really always have the best price these days. Make sure to check other shops before you buy anything. And very often Amazon products come with fake reviews and poor quality. I trust Costco much more than Amazon.

Additionally no price match, no price guarantee, no customer support, Amazon is going downhill for sure

During pandemic, Amazon used people's panic very well and sold most of things at MSRP. For hot items like Clorox purell, etc, Amazon sold most of them to resellers at MSRP and then charge these resellers when they sell these items at higher price. So no need to take care customers anymore. //@anonymous: Additionally no price match, no price guarantee, no customer support, Amazon is going downhill for sure
