With a Raspberry Pi, you can emulate a NES and many other systems. And, you can run regular old Linux programs (and GAMES like Dwarf Fortress). But the tradeoff is that a RPI doesn't look as cool as this.

If you still have tube TV, this system is great. If you have big flat screen, you may be disappointed with the graphic distortion and pixelated. Those games were designed 2 decades ago.
