While this is a good price. I personally like the snapware with the slightly slanted edges for nesting containers together. I don't think these will nest well.

Pyrex makes these in plastic, and are branded Snapware.
They also make it in glass with Snapware lids, branded Pyrex.
Both types are excellent, though a bit pricey. The glass is (much) heavier, but better.

My membership expired last year and I didn’t renew. How many months do I have to wait before I can join as a new member?

Did you mean December 31st when you said "last year"?
Jokes aside, 30 days past previous expiration. You should be good to go.

How does Sam's club tell if you are a new member?
It's by email/phone number. Login to your old/expired account and make sure to either set both to something you won't use or just don't use them when you go in. The one around me really doesn't care. The computer lets them proceed with "a new member" if you give them a new email/phone. You can do this even when the first one hasn't yet expired.

I love their Scan & Go checkout. So easy and convenient. I wished Costco has it too.

In the past Sams club required that your old membership be inactive at least 6 months. (look up the groupons for sam's club) I wouldn't doubt that they have either a 6mo. restriction or even longer on this deal. Sam's club is really bad about honoring these credits from my personal experience --I didn't get vouchers for one of the "deals" in at least one of the renewals I did even though I meet requirements
